culture and mindset

Culture eats strategy for breakfast

If you have the right culture and the right mindset in your team, nothing can stop you. A positive company culture creates an environment where employees feel valued, which boosts their motivation and productivity. When a company’s values and goals are clearly communicated and lived by everyone, a strong sense of community emerges, fostering collaboration and cohesion.

An open and innovative mindset encourages employees to find creative solutions and continuously learn and grow. This is especially important in a rapidly changing world, where flexibility and adaptability are key competitive advantages. Moreover, a strong company culture attracts and retains talent. Employees who are proud of their work and their company are more likely to stay longer and actively contribute to the company’s success. Ultimately, a healthy company culture forms the foundation for long-term success and sustainable growth. In other words, work and success can flow when people have the right mindset.

Our approach to mindset shift

To get in flow we believe that 3 continuously reoccuring phases are needed, each as important as the other, and each useless without the others. All our workshops, coachings, retreats and programs take elements from all 3 of these phases to effectively go from reflecting to doing!

Increasing Awareness

We start with the individual awareness and move outwards to the team. By moving from “I” to “We”, we start at the core of the problem and expose how the individuals in a team affect the team as a whole. Creating awareness and acceptance of this, is at the base of a cooperative culture (also known as teamwork).

Embracing Responsibility

At the heart of a flowing team is the ability to accept one’s own responsibility, giving and taking responsibility so that each individual works to his/her strength and nourishing the muscle of an open mind.

Taking Action

It's all well and nice to reflect and take responsibility, but it all amounts to nothing if you don’t act! Whether it is talking, connecting, innovating or doing, taking action is about reaping the fruits we have sawed in the other two phases.

Team Retreats

In our day to day work, our minds are often too busy and distracted to stop and reset. There is so much imminent work to do in our teams, that we never give ourselves enough time to work on ourselves and on the business. This is the magic which a retreat can have! The definition of “retreat” in the dictionary is “the act of moving back or withdrawing” – and we do this to gain fresh momentum for the challenges ahead. Imagine a rubber band being stretched back and the energy that comes out of it when it gets released again. We perform this act by moving “in“ rather than moving back, as we explore the self, team and company at a deeper level. By doing this we go on a journey to define anew our culture, our products and our interactions with one another in a fun, explorative and innovative manner. All of our Workshops can also all be integrated into our retreats should that fit your needs.

Retreats have proven over and over again to be the single greatest way to create an important mindset transformation and generate fresh energy within a team. Scared to spend so much time away from your business? Every day you invest in your team during a retreat will pay for itself in creative new ideas, deeper connections and newly sparked productivity as you return to work in a new found flow.

Team coaching

Coaching can help you work through a particular challenge or problem you are facing as a team. Team coaching can significantly enhance a team’s performance by improving communication, fostering collaboration, and developing problem-solving skills. It helps identify strengths and weaknesses, aligns team goals, and promotes a positive, supportive environment. Ultimately, team coaching leads to higher productivity and a more cohesive, motivated team. Some typical examples are:

  • Improving understanding and trust in team
  • Clarity of goals and purpose
  • Improving collaboration
  • Ensuring accountability
  • Conflict resolution
  • Solving team bottlenecks
  • Commitment to attaining team results
  • Utilizing the strengths in the team

Change Management

Change is never easy, as humans usually fear change. But change does not have to be messy and stressful. Accompanying a change management process in a company offers numerous advantages that can significantly enhance the success of organizational transformations. Firstly, it ensures a structured and systematic approach, reducing disruptions and minimizing resistance from the team. By guiding the process, we can effectively address concerns and foster a positive attitude towards change. We use our years of change management experience, allowing us to anticipate and mitigate potential obstacles and navigating complex transitions. This leads to a smoother and more efficient implementation of changes.
Additionally, effective change management enhances communication within the organization. Clear, consistent messaging helps employees understand the vision, purpose, and benefits of the change, increasing their buy-in and engagement. This alignment across all levels of the company fosters a cohesive and motivated workforce. Ultimately, accompanying a change management process leads to sustainable, long-term success by ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly, with the support and commitment of the entire organization.
